    Re: Spring Boat Cleaning

ITs about time we had some warm wether. YesterdayI got a call from my buddy asking if I wanted to go fishing and I first told him no. I thought that it was still could outside. I then stepped outside and realized how warm it was and quickly gave him a call back. We ended up wetting the line at Nolin. We caught 7-10 bass (lost count). Man it is great to have some warm wether. Today, I went and fixed up some things on the boat that I didn't have time to do in the winter. I also reorganized my tackle in my boat. I am really hoping that it doesn't snow anymore because I don't know how much longer I am going to be able to take it. I have a feeling that this weekend was just a tease.

    Re: Spring Boat Cleaning

Spent all day Saturday and some time this morning polishing my boat up! Man it felt good! Got my new TM mounted nicely and ran some new electrical wiring. Had to replace my front light mount because of my new TM...did that. Vaccumed the carpet up, man it looks purdy! Just need to get it on the water!!!! Also bought new tackle boxes and reorganized all my lures and plastics. New line on the fishing rods.....I'M READY!!!

    Re: Spring Boat Cleaning

I'm not doing any cleaning this year. I'm going to wait for the first day over 60 degrees when a 50-60 mph wind and heavy rain thunderstorm is forecast. Then, I'm taking the boat to the river, and let the good Lord clean off what he put there all winter.

Clean boats get dirt, require cleaning and get dirty again. A vicious cycle.

A dirty boat is always ready to go as the work of getting it dirty is already done after each trip.

    Logic Spock.......logic!
