Exactly right, it's fishing. I think more than any other tournament that these guys swing for the fences sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.
Heck most of the local guys stumbled. Swindle, Duckett and others......
Thus far I have watched day two and have day three recorded so I can watch it sometime this week after work. From what I saw there were several guys not doing so well that I thought for sure would have done ok, not just Skeet but Boyd Ducket for example...I wonder what happened to him? Just like the other fella said, fishin' is fishin', not catchin'.
I hate to find out who won before I watch the fnal day, but it's sounding to me like KVD might have won.
So what lake is next for B.A.S.S.? Which tournament will be televised on television again, does anyone know?
Congrats to Kevin Wirth finished 8th. He is my hero from Crestwood, KY
Skeet, Boyd, Swindle, and a bunch others gambled up the river and it didn't worked. Ducket blew up his brand new motor on day one, had to switch to a back up boat that didn't have any electronics. Deny Brauer blanked both days. What suprised me most was how little the off-limit area was if there was any. I'd bet you couldn't get into that creek without getting hit by a lipless crank now cuz everybody in the state of Alabama will be in that creek chunking and winding.
If you watched it at all you would have seen the river was chocolate milk. It hurt those guys that didn't stick there flag in that one creek that was clearing up. Vandam never left an area as big as a football field. He had the ultimate honey hole!!!!!
It is at the Delta in California.....March 11 start date. Check out he schedule on bassmasters.com. I feel bad for Jeff Kriet.....knocked out by the champ.....again!Thus far I have watched day two and have day three recorded so I can watch it sometime this week after work. I still got to give it to Kriet. He stuck with it. Alot of people baggin on how he should of moved on. I would have done the same thing he did. Go where the fish have been biting. Just really wished he'd won. No offense, but Im gettin tired of hearing about KVD. But you gotta give it to him, HELL of a fisherman. Beat my ass anyday!
KVD is the Tiger Woods of BASS fishing. He will continue to kick everybodies butt until maybe his wife chases him with a 8' cranking stick. And then maybe the others will have a chanceI still got to give it to Kriet. He stuck with it. Alot of people baggin on how he should of moved on. I would have done the same thing he did. are their any way, to get them to have the big world bass fish off, on laurel lake in february. they already have their warm clothes, and the water temp is 40. k.v.d. said thats the way he likes it, the fish isn't as lively. and they won't have to deal with muddy water, it will be good and clear. I wonder what the weigh in would be? and if those guys, are as good as those southern lakes, make them look like they are. just dreaming, but I sure would like to see it.![]()
Trust me, they ae that good. Seen them a few of them on Taylorsville in October cold spell and there was a couple of limits and a 6 pounder and they only fished 4 hours.are their any way, to get them to have the big world bass fish off, on laurel lake in february. they already have their warm clothes, and the water temp is 40. k.v.d. said thats the way he likes it, the fish isn't as lively. and they won't have to deal with muddy water, it will be good and clear.
