Don, are you not fishing the pond hoppers this year? How big a boat are you looking for? Are you wanting to fish for REC. or get back into BFL, Redman etc.

Man I been wanting a bigger boat for a while now. Not really in a big hurry to sell this one or get another but I will sell it if the opportunity pops up. I have really got my heart set on fun fishing more and riding the ATV as much as possible on weekends so I am gonna pass on the Pondhoppers tournaments. I hate too since they are so affordable and well run but I just other things I want to do right now. Plus I want to take more fishing trips in a decent sized boat.

Really interested in getting an Express Boat with a 130hp or so. The light weight and no wood construction sounds like a good boat to me. Prolly won't get a fiberglass because of the weight.

I used to fish alot of tournaments on Green so that thought crossed my mind if I get into a nice boat but thats looking ahead a little.

I don't know if I will be fishing it this year either.. I think Ryan may fish it with his son this year.. I'd like to fish it with mine but that may be a year ot two away. (I'll need to get a smaller boat for that myself).
Maybe we can fish a couple of other tournaments this year out of my boat if you'd like. If Nothing else we need to get together and fish "E".

what are these pondhopper tournaments you all are talking about.

It's a trail for small boats and motors that is run better than any other I have fished. If your in Lexington stop by Backwaters and get a flyer.
