I can't tell from the description or pictures if it has an indicator light on the top. Can anyone advise about the light or about this trolling motor in general?
I have that exact same boat..........

I put 24 volt in it a few years ago. 80lb MinnKota Maxxum for me. It works GREAT.

One thing that I had problems with was ROOM in the back for batteries. They fit, but standard sized trays, will need to be modified. I even looked at the 2 battery trays, but those didnt' work too well either.

I eventually used regular trays, removed the skrew tabs, and custom made some "clamps" to hold the battery trays down. It was a pain in the BUTT.

THEY have been that way for about 3-4 years. I was sure they'd break into little pieces the way KY lake treats my boat, but they are still good as of last year.
