Man the pics of your son holding that big bass made me chuckle. That fish looked BIG with him holding it. I bet to him it was the best ever....Cool pics for sure.

my son mason is ate up worse then me with fishing. he just turned 7 but he has ben using a bait caster since he was 4 or 4 1/2. it is unreal he just has one of those natural gifts i guess you would call it. he is special and im not just saying that becouse he is mine but he has a gift and their are people who see him fishing and people who have fished with him on this site and they just cant belive how good he is. the best one is when he cought a 5lb bass at rough on a spinning rod and a shakey head and he was yelling and screaming pretty much acting like "ike" wich is his favorite. then we get back to the ramp and the boat is parked on the bank and he is fishing we where waiting to see if a storm was gonna pass or not but he gets one about 13 or 14 inches and the ramp area is crowded so he looks around and starts playing this fish all around the boat for a few minutes then he gets down and lips it like the pros do. i was cracking up. it was so funny. he is a ham for sure.
