    Cumberland...

With this spring approaching I will be heading down to Cumberland alot. I am from Paris which is about 2 hours away, but i just love that lake and the lay out of it. I cant wait until they raise i back up, with the water up in all of that new vegitation it should be on like donkey kong, too bad that wont be for a couple more years!! I was just wanting the different ideas of some guys who regularly fish cumberland, what are your favorite areas/creeks of the lake for bass? I like beaver creek, white oak creek, and one of my favorite's that i think is overlooked alot is fishing creek. It is on the upper end of the lake and most people fish the lower end of the lake, but man I have caught some good fish out of fishing creek. I have the fever BAD! I cannot wait until this **** weather breaks!

I like Indian creek. I have caught some nice smallies out of there. I usually hit it during winter but have not had the opportunity to do so this year due to work and weather. I love the night fishing. I had some excellent trips last year with short arm spinnerbaits and football jigs. I have had some luck in pumpkin creek also. I usually spend the spring on Grn river and some trips to Barkley.

I reallylike Fishing Creek too. I also fish a lot around mid lake for Smallmouth. I fish Green a lot as well. It was a nice change of pace last year & we had some exceptional trips & lots of them too. Can't wait for the water to warm up. I've got the fever bad & I've just about lost my mind this winter with this crappy weather. Can't wait for spring.

water is still up about 10 feet last time I checked. Definitely starting to clear up alot, creeks are looking good and the main lake near burnside doesn't look too bad either. Just about time boys!
