US Supercaster 1000 Reel

Have any of you fished with the US Supercaster 1000 baitcaster with reverse spool rotation and new levelwind system? I am curious if these changes that takes less line-drag out of the system really makes a difference in casting distance as the company claims.

I grabbed Jimmy's rod at the Classic a few weeks ago, could not cast it, but did mess around with it pitchin and flippin. I was impressed, it was super easy to see why it works. I cant imagine a reel being any easier to pitch or flip, no resistance at all from a levelwind, and was blow away that it was hard to make it overrun on the spool. Alot of that has to do with being used to lightly thumbing the spool, hard to take your thumb away on purpose, but easier to use for pitchin than my chronarch mg. I'd buy one, but just hold your horses a few weeks, you will see another model hit the market, and its cheaper!
