Beyond a shadow of any doubt, closing Gitmo was one of the most STUPID, BONEHEADED, ARROGANT, moves ever made by a President of this United States. We all knew it, hell everybody knew it. It doesn't matter when he was released it was wrong, and closing it only made it worse. At least the former administration had no aspirations of closing it down. This is a point that I and Geo were trying to make with some posters some time ago. How do you know who the bad guy is and isn't, you don't, so if you aren't sure, keep them locked up forever if you have to.

My prediction is Obama will go down in history as one of the worst Presidents of all time. Hell he's worse than Jimmy Carter, at least Jimmy cared for people and knew how to drive a nail with a hammer.

As fishraker noted, this guy was released over two years ago, so under the last president. Others were also released by the last guy, so the its all Obama's fault nonesense can stop. Also note that Gitmo has not been closed.

This is a direct result of those trying to demonize Gitmo as a means for political gain with total disregard for our troops and nations safety. I doubt any of these dirtbags would have ever seen the light of day if there had not been a bunch of sissies whining and wimpering about these terrorists "rights".
Do undesirable things happen in every prison? Sure they do. But that's why you don't do bad things, or hang out with those doing bad things. I like to refer to the bad incidents that happen in any prison as an incentive program to be good. This is also why we shouldn't swim with alligators or sharks. If someone ignored that common sense advice and was bitten or eaten alive should anyone really be shocked? No, It's just what you get for being stupid.
