Thanks for the tips! I'm sure I won't be able to stay away too long. It's just a great little lake for my 14ft john boat and having a decent population of lunkers makes it tough to give up. My latest thoughts were to try shaky head finesse worms or smaller bass jigs with small plastic trailers in hopes of tempting some timid bass. I never considered laying off the trolling motor and shutting off the depth finder. Maybe my luck will turn! As my buddy said after I released that 4lber last year, 'that one fish probably caused us to waste time on this lake for another two years!' lol.
