Lock 4 Kentucky River

Water temp was 37 on the river below lock 4 yesterday. Saw 3 boats in the pool from Frankfort to Monterey. Water was very clear (for the river), the upper pool was 8.5ft and there was fast current below the dam but was fishable. Nothing active, one fellow has a muskie strike but was not able to get a good hookset. The fishfinder right below the dam was a blank screen. Found fish on the finder just off deep channel in 18ft water but could not get them interested. The Hummingbird 987 was showing a clear therocline as a second bottom at around 15 ft with some fish just below that. Probably too nice a day to fish with the sun out and all.
