Great win for the Cards and fitting final game for Freedom Hall.
I got down right emotional, good thing I was around friends because strangers would have thought I was crazy. I totally agree Ryan, there are no words and to watch that memory being made for Kyle Kuric is....well I have no words.
Doug Gottlieb take your bubble talk and shove it.
Awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!
Goodbye Hall you had a fitting farewell indeed, priceless.
I scared our friends little dog so bad it's still hiding, lol.
I been outside all day so I missed the game....The Sun and decent temp was to good to pass up! I guess its not hard to tell I'm not a die hard Card fan but I was hoping it was gonna be an evening game.
Kuric played a game he will be able to share with his grandkids someday.
Just saw the highlights on Sportscenter and that dude was in a zone for sure!
Three words: Kyle Frickin Kuric!
Okay, I have some crow to eat after Louisville's big send-off win over the 'Cuse. I have said in the past that I didn't really see Kuric as a a key part of the rotation problems Louisville has been facing all season. I said he wasn't that good of that defensive player, and that he seemed to be too inconsistent offensively to be a regular contributor. To my surprise and personal delight, I was mistaken. He played like he cared more than anyone else on the court that the Cards would be the winners when the clock read 00:00. Even though my blood is blue, I am elated that the Ville will be in the Big Dance (I almost typed Bill Dance...its an easy mixup), and that Kuric got his chance to prove me and Pitino wrong.
He is a fine young man and a very hard worker. I could not have asked for a better script to be drawn up for that win. Kuric is my favorite player on the team and deserves more playing time, I've beat his drum all year. He just needs confidence, the heart and desire is there bigtime.
Thanks for the props, the kid will never forget that game, and he shouldn't. I saw him jumping up and down kissing the Louisville Priest on the cheek after that game, awesome just awesome.
