Dude, That's the beauty of the HH ! You do not have to be a fly fisherman ! The larger ones are easy to cast with a spinning rod ! I think they will do great with a very slow retrieve while varying the speed with a slight jigging action !!!

When I get a chance , I will work on one like you described.

I would like to see that for sure. I was thinking the black for the back and the white/gray for the bottom and sides with the red around the head streaming back bout mid way? With the nice eyes. I never did one but would love to see what you come up with.
