Does anybody know if KY Fish and Wildlife has a map with gps coordinates for the various stake beds and fish attractors they have set out? I seemed to have read about this somewhere but cant find the reference.
Thanks.

They used to be marked by bouys, but I don't see many of the bouys any more. I do know that with all the crappie guys down here, there is no shortage of brush piles. Most of the backs of the bigger bays will be loaded with brush, and most of those are marked fairly good with PVC, re-barb or anything else that will stick up above the water at summer pool. I know the very backs of sledd creek, big bear/Malcom, little Bear and Jonathan are so loaded with stake beads it is hard to get through there without hitting a couple. It is almost impossible to miss those. If you wanted to find some of the harder to find ones, find any creek channel and cruise it looking at your depth finder and you will find plenty. Or you could always look at all the other crappie guys, they will usually be stacked up in the middle of bays - they don't mind getting close to each other.
Thanks. That is what I have experienced. I was hoping that KY F&W might have a database of gps coordinates, but I couldnt find anything on their website.
Here are the links (see below) to the KY Lake and Lake Barkley fish attractors from KY Fish and Wildlife's website. it was hard to find on their website, but if you find the page where you can search for fishing and boating access sites, you get a page that lists all the lakes in the state. For each lake where the information is available, the link will be listed for the google maps locations. you can also contact the local fish biologists for the lakes to get a file that lists all of the locations. I have a friend that works for them, and they have over 600 attractors on the two lakes.
