Laurel River Lake report 3-7

Fished Laurel Sunday from 10-5. Put in at Marsh and fished up through Craigs and Indian Camp. Water was 38 at the ramp and the warmest I found was 43. Threw everything in the box and ended up with 2 stocker trout about 8" each on a smoke grub. Very slow day but was nice to be out.

This warm rain will help this week hopefully.

The water temp raise from Friday the 5th to friday the 12th will be epic. The water temps will sky rocket this week. Unfortunately the air temps are supposed to be lower this weekend but still not that bad. I cant wait.

I also fished Laurel this weekend. Craigs Creek from the bank from 4pm - 7 on Saturday. I also caught 2 stocker trout and nothing else.

The water seemed low to me.

Fished way up Craig's Creek Tuesday evening for a couple of hours. Water temps were 42-44. Did mark some good clusters of shad in a couple of places, but no fish. Not even a trout!
