Good work bud. Glad you had a good time. Sure wish you had caught some crappie fillets though.Went to rough today and caught all kinds from . Started at about 2 crappie fishing and had about 25 non keepers. Decided to bass fish and sure glad I did. Started bass fishing at 4:45 and didn't stop catching them until dark. Biggest was about 4 pounds and caught probably 25 or 30. All of them were right up on the bank. Finally got on the water after that long winter, sure am glad to get that monkey off my back.
I've heard of three tournaments that took place on Rough River Lake...and they all said it wasn't on fire...all the tournaments were won with less than 7 pounds. The fella here at work came in first place in the R&W tournament I think he said. They won with two keepers and a slot fish. they had real close to 6 pounds, yet won it all. He has been fishing there for many many years. Caught all his fish on a mid running CB.
Our tournament was won Sunday with over 17lbs. A few limits, but most had 1-2 keepers....
Wow...now that is on fire; that is great anytime of the year for Rough Rive Lake...yes?
What was the "name" of the tournament...was it your club's tournament...do you know if they were also on a CB bite?
