    Re: This rain and crappie?

Find where the warm rain water has washed through a creek and it has cleared back up. Any cover - mostly brush but the they will pull up on rocks or along a sharp drop and the crappie in that warmer, cleared up water will be itching to bite. Just move around until you find them. Throwing small tube or curly tail jigs on light spinning tackle is prime. You can put a small bobber 2 or 3 feet above a crappie tube and reel in slowly is also a prime trick...

    Re: This rain and crappie?

The rain may warm the water up a little, but I would still fish deep. Fished everyday last weekend and caught some good quality fish. Fish were holding in 18 fow from the bottom up to 12' in stump fields. Pink tubes and minnows was the ticket.
