    Barren conditions

Is Barren being kept at winter pool by the end of the month. Because of the new ramp at the dam? We are having a tournament the 27th and 28th. and we were supposed to use that ramp. But I've heard that it will be closed on the 15th for paving the parking lot. Does anyone know? Thanks!

Winter pool till March 15th, then they are going to shut the gates and fill her up. The ramp is still closed and I had heard they are paving it on the 15th.

OK Thanks so lets hope the recent rains help to put a few feet of water in it. And maybe the ramp will be open by the 26th.

I was at the corp office on Friday and they said the port oliver ramp will not open until september or october. They said it would be completely finished before opening.

Sept or Oct! You've got to be kidding me! That really stinks! That ramp is convenient for me....I hate having to drive around to Baileys. Oh well.

Don't know if I ever knew about the Peninsula boat ramp, but now that you mention it, I remember passing that ramp before on the water. Being new to the lake, I was only familiar with Baileys after they closed that new ramp by the dam....so I guess I started going there. Thanks for the heads up! I will be going to Peninsula from now on!

Peninsula is no wake until you get out to the mouth of the bay it is in. Not too far but not as convenient if you want to go tearing out across the lake pretty quick.

You don't happen to teach on the Hill do you?

Thanks for the info. I do not teach on the hill. I am an alumni though. Thanks again.
