Kansas travels less than 300 miles to Oklahoma City, deservedly so, but has a tough road with the likes of Ohio State, Michigan State, Maryland, Georgetown, Oklahoma State...
Kentucky travels nearly 800 miles to New Orleans as the "Second Overall #1 Seed" and will likely play Texas in the Second Round. Granted, Texas has finished poorly, but they were a #1 team during the year and have #1 talent. Cornell, though Ivy League, can play...and #2 seed West Virginia will be a tough out. I think we got one of the hardest roads.
Duke, in comparison, as the "Third Overall #1 Seed" goes to Jacksonville to play the winner of the play-in game....seriously?
And Florida getting in over Mississippi State? Ouch.
