    Re: Guntersville recap

I did fish in the Siebold creek area. I pretty much fished from their north to the bridge in Scottsboro. We stayed at Village Inn. It is right by Siebold Creek on 431. Not a bad place to stay. Nothin fancy but it was clean. We put in at Waterfront ramp.

Bassman, I was there the same time you were.We had some good luck also. I had one that went 8.6lbs and another at 7.2lbs. We stayed in North Saulty. The trick for us were a shaky head in purple haze, and xr50's in royal purple and rayburn red. We were there Monday thru Fri. and we averaged about 22lbs per day(5 fish) Most of our fish were in 3-4 feet of water.
I too can not wait until next March to return for the big momma's. Will get back down in Sept or Oct. to do some frog and rat fishing.
