Cool pic, Tim.
Great pic. Tim. Did you do a story on him??? If so were would I find it. Chuck
Great pic Tim T;
I was lucky enough to meet Mr Hayes several years ago and have my pic made with him and his fish at the Grayson Co. Swap Meet in Leitchfield,Ky. Mr Hayes was very gracious and soft spoken, and seemed to enjoy the attention but grew tired rather quickly and had to leave the swap meet early. I would post a link to my pics, but for some reason I can't find them right now.
Has Mr Hayes been ill ? He looks a lot more frail than a few years ago. Glad you got to experience meeting him, that will be something that won't be a reality to do in a few more years.
Phoenix, he has had some health problems in the past, but he seemed to be doing okay. He was very gracious to both Jim and I when we were there.
Riverrat, I am not doing the story, I was there to shoot photos and help with the interview. It will be in this new magazine which will have it's first issue April 1.

I will have seven articles in the first issue, but not the story on Mr. Hayes.
I found my pics of The World Record and Mr. Hayes
