The state of Tennessee has put a 50 inch size limit on muskies on Dale Hollow Lake.. This makes it a virtual catch and release lake since we all know a 50 inch muskie is very hard to come by.
I spoke with the director of the TWRA whose jurisdiction covered Dale Hollow and he informed me that muskie have only been stocked in Dale Hollow once and that was in 1956. The stocking muskie came from the state of New York.
I am not running for anything, but I approve of this size limit.
