Rough River Lake

Has any body been to rough lately. I was wondering with these long days i might have time to go up there after school. is it down to winter pool or is it up. Last time i heard it was above summer pool. Thanks Jordan

I haven't been there yet myself but I heard it is about 2 feet above winter pool. If you make it there this week let me know how it looks we have a tourney there this weekend.

Havn't been there yet but had a call from an angler who is planning on fishing ABA with us this Sunday said its on fire.Its his home lake so he knows where too go.But its just hear say if you get my drift.

First post here folks Hi How is every one?

I was there sunday and fishing was slow I caught 1 little crappie but there was a few others that had done better with counts of 9 to 13 keepers.
What kind of tournament is going on?? It should be a good weekend if the lake isnt over loaded but since the ohio is out of it's banks and sauger fishing is DOA i would say it will be loaded .
The water is still way down. I have been wanting to get down there all week but first I need to finish tunning up my old truck..
Good luck this week end save a few for me.

my buddy fished a tournament sat. and he won with 16 pounds and something. he said that he also missed a 8 or 9 pounder and a couple of 5 pounders. said he would of had about 24 pounds if he had a net man with him he was by his self. he said it was one of his better fishing days. and he has had a lot of good days.

my partner couldn't leave till 4 so we didn't run up there. we fished carpenters lake and king fisher and dint catch anything

Went today and it was tough real tough. You could walk around on boats. It looked like July 4th weekend there were so many boats. We had a few short fish and a couple of dinks. Pick your bait.
