BARREN water levels

Have a club tourney on Barren on the 27th. Just wondered if there will be any water in it. Corps website has it down 21' from summer pool. Thanks

it has water it is down to winter pool at this time.Took 16 lbs to win a tourney there last weekend, should be hot on the 27th

Look at the Corps website again, if we get the normal rainfall that is predicted, the level should be up around 540 by the 27th, which is only 12 feet below Summer pool. That should be plenty.

Hey guys, thanks for the info. I may try to pre fish on the 26th. Never been on Barren, any advice on where to launch, fish etc.

Is there any grass for example? Althought probably won't be out yet but you never know.

Het guys I'm having trouble finding a hotel close to Barren the Days Inn isn't answering their phone and I don't know of anything else around there.. can someone help me out there..

State park has a lodge and Cabins

thanks found a room at the comfort inn must be another tournament there that weekend. Got the last room. Everything else was booked.

Days inn number wasn't working at 651-1757 had to call the other number 651-1755.

Try the comfort INN 651-9099 right next door and owened by the same folks.

No grass on barren. Rocks, gravel, and mud. Lake is drawn down 25 feet in winter= no grass.

Hit points, ledges, flats with stumps. Search back through the forum for more info on Barren. It is out there if you search.
