Started fishing by 8:45 am. Fished by the dam on the channel banks and also flats. Lures used where 1/2 red eye shad,zoom speed craws,crankbaits,jig & trailer,plastic worms and also took live minnows. Caught 2 small yellow stripes is what i think they call them and one small rock bass on the minnows. Water temp was in the upper 40's in morning and topping out around 52 in the afternoon. Artificial lures just were not working at all and as far as that goes live wasnt that good either. That lake can be great at times and terrible at others. Just have to hit it at the right time i guess ! I thought after 4 cloudy days in a row that when that sun popped out and the water was warming the bass would be on the move......not ! Oh well ill get them next time. Oh and after i got off the lake my boat had a terrible scum line on it. Took me 20 minutes to clean it off. I have never had this much on my boat from any other lake in kentucky !
