Water temp ranged from 48 in morning to 52.6 by 4,all kinds of boats fishing for crappie with most of keepers being caught early from 14 to 24 foot of water, mainly around gravel flats, seen several fishing for bass but did not see any caught.

    Re: Green Water Temp ???

I was there today. By late afternoon I was finding water 54.6 on west facing banks, east facing banks were 47-49 degrees. I had three bites (bass) but no catches. One guy told me it would take dynamite to get a fish and another said he caught two 14 inch largemouths on jigs in deep water. Good luck.

Was there today. Threw jig, tube, brushhog, crank bait, spinner bait, jerk bait & a shakey head. 5 hits on jig between the two of us & no catches. Few hits on a shakey head, but no hook ups. About as tough as I've ever saw it. With good weather it will turn on in about 2 weeks according to the water temps. 46 in morning to 53* in the afternoon.
