I just got back from the taxidermist picking up my 142" 9 pointer from November. I asked if he was getting any fish in, he proceeded to show me a 25" 6lb 8oz monster smallie caught last October. Don't know if I would keep her or not but I would love to be in a situation where I had to make the decision!!!!!

You can always measure her, release her, and have a replica made based on measurements.

I would like to have that tugging on my line! I would only snap a few pics and let her swim away -- thanking me with her tail.......
