    swim bait rod?

What would be a good rod to purchase for swim baits? Is it a 7 ft heavy, med heavy.. Is there a rod that would be good for swim baits and c-rig, worm ect..? Im a working stiff and really dont want to drop alot of cash. I know that this is alot like " what line to use" so any idea's?

It kinda depends on what size swimbait your throwing. If your throwing a hollow body or lead head less than 1.5oz than a 7ft med. heavy rod is all you really need, and that works great for worms and c-rigs too. Those really big swimbaits that are a couple oz. can be very tough to throw without the right equipment, and i just switch out my 7'6" heavy action flippin stick for those, you really need a big rod just to throw those things.

Okuma rods are really good. I got a couple of the 7'6mh Guide select rods they handle baits 1-3oz which covers most of my swimbaits. They also have a lifetime warranty. And the run about 100-120 but I got mine for $75 on sale.
