Beaver Lake / report

Sat. / / water temp was perfect 53;..found 54..never got any high than that.
I caught 27 that were all over 12", but short of 15";....One that went 20";...was 4.8lbs!!! Looked like she just came up from her winter deepth....very skinny.
Booby Shake caught 32...had a handfull that were over 14", but none over 15".
We were on the most perfect jerk bait bite I've just about have ever seen; however I did catch the 4 pounder slow rolling a spinnerbait, bluegill color. Out of 60 bass, two were on spinerbait...and one on a CB..the rest were on my lucky craft pointer...Vs. Bobby's X-rap!
The water was unreal...very clear; after catching a bunch of 14" right off the bat, I thought for sure we were going to wack some pigs. Those 13 and 14" kept us throwing...great places and conditions. Stuck with my trolling motor all over the lake...we fished 9 hours..had enough to power to fish all the way back to the dock...from Cedar Point (far end of the lake). Was pissed... that I saw more than 4 individuals running with big motors...one with a 115!!! another with a 90hp...and a bass tracker that was running all over liked he didn't care.... and could afford any ticket. Well..from what I heard...he got caught. Saw his boat later tied up at a dock,...I guess $200+ ticket from the looks of the place...he could. More later..got to run.

Great report. Beaver can be alot of fun. Might need to visit the old beav.
