Hadn't heard what happened...was it a boat accident?
Yes,thats what i heard.I was told he was in a procraft and got thrown out.He was fishing alone in a tournament. All i know but was hoping too hear he is Ok.
He is in University Hospital. The prop almost cut his hand off. They were able to reattach it and his arm was broken in 3 places. I just talked to him today. He is in a lot of pain but luckily it looks like he is going to recover OK, its just going to be long recover. He had an inflatible life jacket on and was wearing his kill swith. I think it saved his life. He said the boat just came unbuttoned and spun as he was rounding a curve.
I heard about this yesterday. Thoughts and prayers go out to him and his family.

Just got home from seeing Adam he is in good spirts. Spent about 1.5-2 hours with him. Doing good. He can move all his fingers and thumb they didnot have to fuss the bone in his wrist. That was GREAT NEWS. You can not keep a Good man down he said he would be back in a couple months but I told him to take his time. His wife said he would be back when the doctors say he can and not before. Adam we are thinking about you and hope for a speed recovery.
Sorry to hear of anyone getting hurt doing what we all love so much...Great to hear he's doing well and he will be in my prayers.
Sorry to hear about that. This is an unfortunate accident but a reminder to the fact all of us should be wearing inflatables and your kill switch. I always have mine on when I'm running the boat.
Thank goodness he's alive. Kill switch and lifejackets have saved many, I'm sure. Everyone needs to be careful and follow safety especially when in power boats. Been too many accidents/stories in last several years. He is in University Hospital. The prop almost cut his hand off. They were able to reattach it and his arm was broken in 3 places.
