Just got in from an 815 -430 fishing day. Little creek was packed with boats today half goin for crappie and half for bass. The water was around 54 and stained pretty good. The farther down you go the clearer it gets but not by much. I managed one off a baby brush hog and three off a crankbait all shorts and my brother caught one off a jig. We only got around a dozen bites all day if that. Talked to six or so boats and the most anyone had caught was three. Very tough day but a good day to be on the water. We did spook up two does down the creek right in front of my boat. They spooked up from bedding and stared at us for about ten seconds then ran off. Pretty cool to see while fishing.
