i grew up fishing the river there and i was one of the first boats to fish 14 mile creek when the cable was taken down nice place to fish then, dont know about now
but if you go that far up river dont ever pass up the monster log jam at the head of 18 mile island!!!! even futher up is lil kentucky river which always holds fish
down river never pass up oil creek. won alot of money from there just remember the river is a beast of its own its not like any lake u ever fished
any place on the river bank that will block or hide a fish from current FISH IT !! stump,dock,lay down or anything friend of mine says harrods creek and the marina behind captians quarters is holding fish right now because of the condition of the river
