I strictly use xps fluoro on all my crankbait reels now, I use the 10lb test. I matched this with a bps crankin stick and I couldnt be happier with the results. I feel like the fluorocarbon has gave me better feel of my crankbaits, its getting them down deeper because of the small diameter, and the fluoro line also sinks. I havent lost any fish because of the line that I know of, the crankin stick has a good soft tip which helps from setting the hook to hard. I love the results I have gotten since switching, and I am sure someone that knows a little more than I will tell you to stick with fluorocarbon because of the benefits. If I were you, I might consider going to a smaller diameter to help get those baits down a little deeper!
