    Spoon Fishing?

Do any of you fish a spoon much? This is a bait I would like to try and use a little more especially during the summer fishing deepwater structure.

Yeah, i like fishin them quite a bit. There super easy to use to no matter how you fish them.. casting or vertical. but its not for every lake. Its a visual type bait, when the waters stained its not a good search bait but it still works good in stained water when you have the fish located.. so its good on like ky lake where the waters a little cleaner and they school up big time on ledges in the summer.. but there really aint nothin to workin them. Cast it out, let it sink, rip it up, let it sink, repeat..

    Re: Spoon Fishing?

While on the subject of spoons. A lot of spoons out there tend to create line twist, I know the Johnson Minnow Series of spoons do, as well as a few others. The one spoon that I've found to create little to no line twist is an ACME Kastmaster.
