We try LBL twice a year in the spring and fall. If weather is tough on big lakes, a few guys on the trip will always try energy lake to get out of wind. They have caught plenty of crappie in the spring and some nice largemouths in the fall on topwater. The crappie were caught in downed trees or by drifting in the middle of lake with minnows and jigs. Usually plenty of weeds.
thanks for your help----oldnewfisher.
