Rough River this week

Planning on hitting Rough Tuesday with my dad hoping to catch some crappie and bass. Does anyone know what the water color looks like and how much rain they got? We don't wanna drive all the way down there if it's too muddy. Gonna put in at North Fork and try crankbaits and jigs for bass and minnows for crappie if the conditions are favorable. Thanks for any information.

If you go south the water has a nice coper color up north it is the same but not as dirty. In the middle it is real clear.

When we were up there last week, North Fork was slightly stained, but not bad. Mid-Lake was clearer. Not sure after yesterday's rain. Don't plan on being alone up North Fork........LOTS OF BOATS!!!

Thanks for the info and the heads up. Hoping it's not too bad on a Tuesday but we'll stick it out either way. Will report back and let ya know how it goes.
