do any of you guys, ever think of doing anything for yourself. and not going to a shop and paying 4 times what it will cost, if you do it yourself. I have never done it before, but I have seen a boat with the finished product. and it looks great. from what I can find out, it is a very simple thing to do. take your strips of lights, hold them in place and mark where each bulb goes. on both sides of boat if you are doing both sides. remove bump rail, drill the holes where the light bulbs go. with matching drill bit size. place the bulbs in the drilled holes, connect the wires. from each strip to each other. use urethane glue, to fasten lights to rub rail. let the glue dry, then replace the rub rail. run the wires out of sight, to power supply with toggle switch. and you have the same thing for 1/4 the price. I ordered 6 strips for my boat, three for each side. should get them wednesday, total cost for everything with shipping. 170.00 when I'm finished with mine I'll post photos. here is the site to order any lights you need.
