Very true. Although, I am shocked that the fish had survived that long in RRL, unless it entered the lake this winter when temps were low. The water temps and conditions in RRL are not suitable for trout during summer/fall months.

I don't know about that creek, but a lot of them they stock in October too.

20+ years ago, I caught a rainbow (8"-9")on Nolin River on the lake side of the dam at White Mills. Nothing is impossible, lol. I actually had a witness also.
