Cedar Creek Report 3-31-10

Got on the water at about 8. Left around 5. Water was fairly clear but had a hint of stain. Fished with my dad and combined we boated 6 largemouth. The largest was our only keeper. weighed 5-9 and the next biggest was 19 3/4 in. weighed 4-14. Both of those were caught on a white spinnerbait up close to the bank but with quick access the deep water. The other 4 were all under 14 inches. All caught on a Pumpkinseed Speed Craw in slightly deeper water. The water temp varied from 47 in the morning to 52 when we left but those are rough estimates due to our temp guage never reading right. Boat traffic wasnt too bad. Plenty of crappie fisherman but not many bass fisherman out. Over all, it was a good day out on the water.

Great report! Good to see you caught a few. That Speed Craw was one of my top baits last year.
