Rough River Crappie

Any good reports on Crappie at Rough River? Thinking about giving it a go this coming weekend.

Went out today and had a great time. Put in at North Fork and fished Tules Creek (with several others). My dad and I caught around 70 to 75 fish, most being crappie. Had 7 keepers and tons of smaller ones. Went through our minnows in a hurry and bass fished for a while with some success as well. Water is still way down and it will be crowded this weekend so get there early and be careful.

Thanks for the info. Thats all we caught a couple of weeks ago were small ones. Big ones have got to be about ready.
