Monroe Bass? Temperature?

Anyone having any luck for largemouth at Monroe yet? Also, does anyone know what the water temperature has been running there? Thanks for any information.

I went for a few hours Wed. and all day today. Caught two on Wed. 17 and 18 inches....on secondary points. One bite today.....but it was a 6 lber!!!! The cold front threw them off a bit, but with warmer temps the rest of the week I look for the bite to get better. Water was anywhere from 48-55...depending on where and what time of day. I threw mostly lipless cranks/jigs/chatterbait.

There have been some nice largemouths caught way back Crooked Creek. It's really good back there if you have the patience to idle. There is a ramp back there also if you want to save time and gas. Some of the best crappie fishing is back there too.

Head back to Crooked Creek. Big Largemouth back there.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought Crooked Creek was closed until April 1st?

You are right Eric....i think North Fork is closed until the 15th....Middle Fork opens the 1st.
