You could fish the dam at Fort Boonesborough off exit 95 on I-75. I've heard of whites and sauger being caught there. Alot of drum too.

Thank you guys for all of the advice...
Did anyone fish the river today or yesterday and could tell me if the water is way up and running or still fishable. Going to put in at tyrone to take my dad out and wondering if it is worth going or if I should head to a lake.
I fished the Kentucky River at College Hill yesturday. Didn't even get a bite and the other boats I talked to were the same.

The river yesturday was "regular" not high not muddy, just regular.
I fished it at steels branch and only caught 2 bass at elk horn. Flat creek was dead and the river had too much current. I would give it a week or just fish barren or nolin. They are hot right now.
