Barren fishing ???

Going to fish with a buddy in his company work tourney Saturday. Haven't been to Barren this year at all. What's it like there & what are the fish doing ? Can PM if you'd rather. Thanks

people seem to be catching bass in muddy shallow flats, but i had no luck. did catch some big hybrids though while trolling late afternoon. one over 10 pounds and several over 5.

Were you trolling up the creeks or on the main? Thanks, going up there tomorrow and wouldn't mind doing some hybrid trolling. Had a blast up at RRL doing that all last week.

zigzagging channel near narrows,had no luck til about 4 o'clock. that seems to be when they hit everyday. hooked a 10 and 6 pounder on two poles at the same time. my nephew is now addicted!

I am too! I have just been SLAYING the hybrids up @ RRL this spring! We have caughten two at a time, on the same rod (umbrella rigs)! lol! Talk about a fight! Thanks for the info, I'm heading out right now. I'll report back later.

fished hybrids on Barren thursday. we could not catch a small one! the smallest was around 5 pounds, many 8-9 pounders. they are really hitting hard in the afternoons.
