While fishing the North end of Loon Pit in the little inlet next to the Parking lot I observed a White Pickup truck pull into the parking lot. The driver was a young looking white male, I would guess he is in his twenties. The Pickup truck had loud mufflers. The wheels looked funny on the truck also so it stood out. I could not tell the make of the truck as I can't see that good. This happened around 5:30 pm to 6:00 pm tonight. Sunday.
He did a big doughnut in the parking lot and threw gravel well into the lake not far from my boat.
Watch out for this guy as he is a menace. I was lucky that my boat was far enough away from the shore that I avoided getting hit by the flying gravel.
What is it with young men these days? Now that parking lot will be rough to drive over with those big skid marks in the middle of the gravel lot.
If you see this White Older truck with a loud muffler watch out for him.
He had a passenger in the truck with him. And there was a second burgendy colored truck that followed the White Truck into the parking lot. They parked side by side facing opposite directions before the White Truck peeled out and did the dougnut. Then both trucks left the parking lot and turned right onto Boonville New Harmony Rd and drove off to the East.
I knew that someone was doing doughnuts in the parking lots and putting big ruts in the gravel. I wish I could have gotten his liscence plate number. Not sure it would do any good to report him but I figured I better warn guys that park their vehicles in the parking lot. The flying gravel would break a car window and certainly din up a paint job.
I'll recognize the truck if I see it again. If I had been hugging the East Shore line next to the parking lot I would have been hit with flying gravel for sure.
I was fishing the little lagoon just West of the Parking lot at the North End of Loon Pit.
