ESPN is running the entre press conference live from the Masters. I have seen Superstar Athletes and other famous people that have made mistakes in the past hold similar public hearings to appologize for their mistakes and shortcomings. I have NEVER seen any of them so it with the dignity and sincerity as did Tiger today. No lawyers, No notes, No pre recorded statements, No written statements that he sat there and read to the public. Him a microphone, a Masters representative on the podium and MANY reporters firing questions at him. No holds barred, No limits as to what the questions could be about. For over a half hour he answered EACH AND EVERY question, with the only ones that he did not were in regards to those that wanted to know about his "sex addict" or something of that nature. It may be just me but I have seen other famous people put on the "I have to do this to get back in good with the public eye" face in the past and you can tell that it is just so fake. Personally, I saw a man that was honest, remorseful and sorry for all that he has done and all of the people that he has let down from his wife and mother to his fellow playing professionals to the 5 year old boy or girl that picks up a golf club for the first time and already knows who Tiger Woods is. I still don't condone what he did but it showed a lot about his character TODAY and hope that all the questions will stop and he and his family can't get on with the process of building up their relationship. A couple of weeks ago I said he would win the Masters by 10 and I was wrong. I think he may win it by 20. He has always been the most mentally dominating athlete in the history of any sport (and his physical talents are not that shabby). When he says he needs to be more focused and level headed, in that he is not going to have the outburst when something goes wrong or the outburst the other way after something goes right, may mean that he stays at about 95% all the time. Tigers 95% is better than any other golfer on tours 140%. I think he will have a historical weekend and this time next week the next chapter will be written and it will start with The 2010 Masters Champioin, Mr. Tiger Woods.
