today in the licking river

me and my dad went fishing in the southlicking river in cynthiana today it was just a father and son bonding day i caught one largemouth it weigh 2 1/2 mabe 3 and dad go one small redeye

My Grandfather ( PaPa ) took me and my older brother a Fishin on the Licking River when I was around 5 yrs old. I caught a Large sucker on a cane pole that he picked up from the bank and setup for me. That sucker darn near pulled me in ! LOL

PaPa has been gone for years now. But I will always remember that day ! Amazing what kind of memories get burned into the noggin !

I probably do not have to say this, But you should fish with him every chance you get ! Those days are priceless !
