Fished all afternoon from the bridge up river a couple of miles and NOTHING! Had the river to ourselves and only saw one boat with a couple guys in it and that was all. They hadn't caught anything either. One boat was pulling out when we got there and they said all they got into was a couple of whites. Looked like good water flow to me and the color was a murky green so I thought it was fine and felt we would do really good. Temp was 45-47 and 53+ in the creeks. Tried corn on the bottom around creek mouths and trolled all sorts of crank baits along with swim baits hoping for a striper but never had a hint of a bite. Long haul for a dud like that but next time I get there and no one is at the ramp, I will turn around and go home! LOL Guess they know something I don't.
