I had a little luck on the Dix River April 2 and 4th. Only caught 26 the 1st day and 6 the second day. Only 7 of the 32 whites I caught were worth keeping. I definitely think the low water may have screwed up the runs this year. I think that they are all still in the upper lake, but not the river.

Newton lake in Illinois. Fish the warm water discharge and you will hammer them any day you want.
