    New Rod

Just got my new rod yesterday from tackle warehouse a 6'8" split grip MH Falcon cara T7. Itching to try it out I have always liked Falcon rods and this is my first new one in quite awhile.

Hope you like it. I got 2 new skeet rods the spinnerbait and crankin rods. LOVE the spinnerbait rod and getting to know the crankin rod. Little heavier than I'm use too, but like the way it loads and can control my shorter casts better than my other crankin rods. Good Luck!

If you have a food scale handy, I would like to know the weight of that rod and what you think of the action/power of the rod vs. its rating. I've had my eye on that rod but wonder how moderate is moderate fast. thanks

You will Love them. I have 5 Cara rods, 2 of them are the Cara T-7.
I love them, Wouldn"t consider any thing else.
And they are made in the GOOD OLD USA.

    I know you"ll enjoy them

    Re: New Rod

Sorry no food scale. The spinnerbait rod has thrown 3/8 kvd double colo with great acuracy. And throw red-shads and knockers a mile yet pin point and no get use to time. feel super lite in hand and and I'm use to shorter rods but no adjustment time and it loaded great and drove the trebles home.
The crankin rod loaded great and is heavier to me but I'm use to BPS crankin sticks. They're lighter in your hand but big bulky handles and I lost a lot of fish on them. Never lots a fish yet(knock on wood) even with only one hook in fishes mouth. Throw a knocker with factory hooks. Last few yrs I always changed the hooks to mustads because the factory hooks wouldn't scarch your nail and couldn't tell you the amount of fish lost with the bps rods and original hooks.
    Hope this helps.

What Cara T7 do you recommend for Jig and Worm fishing. I like 7' rods for both and I'm not a fan of split grips

    ooskeeter

    I have the cc-6-1610 H
    12-25 line
    1/4--3/4
    Regular Grip

For some reason my first one was a 6ft-10in, and I liked it so much that all mine are 6ft-10in
You could not ask for a better worm and jig rod.
And I believe the 7ft would be just as good.
