Can you run safely to Brown's Ford from main lake?

I put in at Walnut Creek last week and headed close to Brown's Ford....it's ok, just STAY IN THE CHANNEL! Gets shallow quick if you dont.

I went to Canoe creek last Wednesday and didn't have any trouble. I did however try to stay in the channel. There was about 6' of water in canoe, but it started to look a little tricky up river from there.
