Man we fished hard to today ,started out below the musuem ,had minnows ,not the first sauger ,then moved to the Duck pond fished my hole in ther for sauger ...nothing !! Then fished the shallow banks on the other side of the duck pond hoping for some spawning smallies nothing ,was usign shakey head, blade baits ,jigs& minnows ,4inch tube jigs NOTHING ...then tied a Shadrap on and got a gar ...then we moved to Silver creek nothing there either ....Man I am puzzled ?? When the dogwoods are blooming the sauger should be done spawning and eating everything in sight .Could be the river is dropping really fast .Should probably tried Whiskey chute .Temp in duck pond 58.8 degrees
